Nordstrand™ « Big Break » pickups cram a powerful split coil into a soapbar-style pickup, producing a full-bodied, powerful, aggressive tonal texture, while retaining the clarity that’s characteristic of single coil tone with noiseless performance. The custom bridge contains the magic of the AeroSilk Piezo system to provide that sense of « air » that characterizes upright sound.
The EQ section incorporates the controls of the magnetic pickup(s) with the AeroSilk Piezo system. Controls include a Master volume, bass and treble controls for the pickup(s) and a Master volume and a tone control for the Piezo system.
