Built from premium grade tonewoods selected by the Star’s Music team at the Martin Custom Shop workshop (in this case it was the set #105), this MARTIN & CO Custom Shop CS-D-C23036411#2814866 steel string acoustic guitar is an outstanding Dreadnought.
It features Solid Sitka Spruce top, Sitka Spruce bracing, solid guatemealn Rosewood back/sides, genuine solid Mahogany neck with Modified Low Oval and High Performance Taper profile, Ebony fretboard.
Martin case included.

European spruce offers a distinctive sonic profile among other Spruce species. Tonally it blends the power and headroom of Adirondack spruce with a touch of Cedar’s warmth. Depending on the body style and wood it’s paired with, it can match well with sophisticated chords and fingerstyle arrangements, strummers with a firm attack, and any player looking for a responsive tone with nice complexity.

Adirondack or Red Spruce is a sought after sort of Spruce, with lot of clarity, excellent projection and sweet midrange.

Indian Rosewood is one of the most popular and traditional guitar woods. It takes the basic sonic thumbprint of Mahogany (strong midrange) and expands it in both directions of bass and treble.
Rosewood sounds deeper in the low end and brighter/sparkly on the top end. It appears to be more scooped in the middle than mahogany.
